Considering the high-end rising PCs and storage capacity nowadays, it is now practical and cost effective to do backup management and administration to server’s local or network storage disk, not like decades ago where you would buy a very costly tape backup drive to backup small enteprise scaled... more here

Everybody should have known by now that Google servers are powered by heavily modified Linux servers. One publicly available software made by this giant search engine is Google Earth.

For portable linux laptop users, one could imagine the difficulty and hazzle of doing network IP setup changes when moving from one location to another. If a user uses his laptop from his wifi-enabled office and later on moved to a different wifi location outside his office, a new wifi profile setup... more here

Both on Linux and Windows world, we get used to a lot of things. This attitude of getting used to the world around us at times, shower us some attitude of just-accept-that and do-not-complain.
